Fallen Officers Memorial
Ladies and Gentlemen, thank you for attending, it is my honor to address you today as we recognize National Police week.
I’d like to extend my gratitude to all the the brave men and women who serve in law enforcement across our nation.
Every day they maintain peace and provide safe environments for our communities. Your dedication does not go unnoticed and I recognize the risk you face daily and appreciate all you do to protect and serve.
Today we solemnly remember and honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty across the nation and here at home.
Our hearts are with the families of those who have lost their lives protecting others. Though we recognize all who have made the ultimate sacrifice, we’d like to honor two of the Colville Tribes finest to have ever served.
Officer Roy Bradshaw and Louis Millard showed incredible courage and sacrificed their lives protecting others. To the families of Officer Bradshaw and Officer Millard; no memorial can fill the void. But I hope you find comfort and peace knowing their memory will live on within the Colville Tribal Police Department and the communities they served.
From the desk of Chief Steve Brown.
